Studying Robert Frost? This course provides all you need to know about many of his major poetical works; it'll help you get to know him better as a writer too. I adore Frost and I've been teaching him for years - in fact, a few times I've turned to poems such as 'Stopping By Woods' and 'The Road Not Taken' during moments of stress, confusion and difficulty in my life. I made this course to help anyone who struggles with him and finds it difficult to go beyond the basic or surface meaning in his poems.
Here, you’ll find in-depth analyses of his poems (full list below), as well as attitudes, context and deeper ideas that help you understand his work at a higher level. There's also a set of themes that provide the basis for exam-style questions, and a look at high grade A and A* exam answers.
It's best suited for those studying Frost at a higher level (ages 16+ and 18+), but would also be totally manageable for younger enthusiastic students who enjoy poetry and know a bit about it already.
You can preview samples of the course for free, so feel free to try out the sample to see if the level is right for you!
I hope by the end of this one you love Frost just as much as I do, if you develop that kind of connection with his work then you'll have no trouble getting top marks in your poetry essays.

I am the founder of Scrbbly. I love reading and writing of all kinds, and I aim to pass this enthusiasm on to my students.
I have taught English online since 2011, and have worked as a full time private tutor and teacher for over 4 years. For the last 2 years I have taught as Head of English for an online home school, which provides live lessons for Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) students from all over the world. I am also an approved AQA examiner, qualified to mark papers in GCSE and A Level Language and Literature.
I have a great track record of boosting students’ grades very quickly, simply because I help students to become self-critical; to understand what’s good and bad about their work. Find out more about me and my background here.
